Smithfield High School's November 10, 2016 Career Fair for Sophomores was a huge success. Last year, these students identified career clusters of interest using the Waytogori.org program. This year, thirteen guests shared their career stories and helpful information about their careers during three 25-minute sessions and a 30 minute panel discussion. Students were engaged -asking questions and taking notes. There was a lot to be learned from our guests who were from the following fields: technology, business , clinical psychology, pharmacy, construction, communications and marketing, accounting, nursing, engineering, first respondents, and cyber terrorism. A big thank you to our guests, faculty facilitators, career fair advisory board, Maggie Busam (parent volunteer), Jeff Macari (maker of presenter gifts), our administrators, and our well-behaved and inquisitive students for making this day a success!
